The Holy Qur’an is the first source of Arabic grammar rules and the Hadith of prophet comes in second place after the Holy Qur’an regarding rhetoric, eloquence and expression, because it is the speech of  the most eloquent Arabs and trough it, Arabic language gained its prosperity and progress. So it have been considered as a second source in deducting the rules of Arabic grammar. Despite all of this, there is little citation with the Hadith of prophet being used by the ancient Arabic grammarians compared to the most of the later Arabic grammarians. But among the later grammarians there are three trends in the field of citation with the Hadith. The first trend is the prohibiting the citation with the Hadith of the prophet on Arabic grammatical issues for two reasons: first, the narrators permitted the narration with meaning, and the second is that there is a lot of ungrammaticality in what was narrated from the Hadith, because many of the narrators were, of course, not Arabs who did not know the Arabic grammar. So ungrammaticality appeared in their speech. The second trend is the permissibility of citing with the Hadith of the prophet on issues of Arabic grammar rules usually. The third trend is the mediation between prohibition and permission and the prominent supporter of this trend divided the Hadith into two sections. The first section is what the narrator sees to the meaning of the Hadith not its word and this is not correct to be cited with in grammar. The second is what the narrator sees to the words for a special purpose, such as the Hadiths whose eloquence was intended by the prophet and prophetic proverbs and this is correct to be cited with in grammar. In this research, the researcher discussed the opinions and statements of those who prohibited the citation, then the opinions of those who permitted the citation, as well as those  who intermediated between the prohibition and the permissibility and he sought to apply between opinions and sayings regarding the validity of citing with Hadith in proving the rules of Arabic grammar.
